Cenote Dos Ojos Tulum

Cenote Dos Ojos (Two Eyes Cenote) is one of the most extravagant diving sites in the Yucatan peninsula. It is also one of the largest underwater cave systems.

It is named like that because of the two sinkholes of 70 meters in diameter connected by a 400 meter long passageway.

There is more natural light here, thus it is a great place for everybody.

The visibility through the water is amazing and snorkelling as well as diving can be practiced.

Dos Ojos is the location of the deepest known underwater cave passage at a 118 meter depth. The whole cave system is at least 61 km long.

The water temperature is ideal for snorkelling at a constant 24-25 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

Cenote Dos Ojos is located just three kilometres off the Highway 307, 22 km north of Tulum and 50 km south of Playa del Carmen.

Underwater Museum of Art in Cancun

The Underwater Museum of Art is a museum located in the balneary of Cancun, Mexico, which aims to showcase a series of incredible artistic works right at the bottom of the sea. Also called MUSA, this place opened in 2009 and since then has received around 1 million visitors every year. Amazing, isn’t it? This is certainly one of the main and most unmissable tourist attractions in Cancun.

The idea of building this museum arose to preserve the region’s reefs that were being degraded with tourist visits. With this, MUSA was born, in which the sculptures exhibited underwater are made of a material that helps in the proliferation of corals that attach to works of art. To visit the Underwater Museum of Art in Cancun, you must swim and snorkel, or use a glass-bottom boat to visit the underwater facility.

Borobudur: Temple in Indonesia

The Temple Borobudur, or sometimes "Barabudur", is a Mahayana Buddhist temple located near Muntilan on the island of Java in Indonesia. Built during the rule of the Sailendra dynasty (c. 650-1025 AD), Borobudur remains the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Buddhists from the Javanese population performed pilgrimages and other rituals at Borobudur until the 14th and 15th centuries, when the temple was abandoned because many Javanese converted to Islam. Rediscovered in 1814, Borobudur has since been the subject of immense archaeological investigations by the Dutch and Javanese. UNESCO designated Borobudur as a World Heritage Site in 1991, following restoration in the 1970s and 1980s overseen by President Suharto (1967-1998) and UNESCO, and the iconic temple continues to play a powerful role in shaping Indonesia's aesthetics, architecture, and cultural identity. Borobudur is the most visited tourist spot in Indonesia.

The Kingdom of Sukhothai

Sukhothai was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 14th centuries. It has a number of fine monuments, illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture. The great civilization which evolved in the Kingdom of Sukhothai absorbed numerous influences and ancient local traditions; the rapid assimilation of all these elements forged what is known as the 'Sukhothai style'.

Situated in the lower northern region of present-day Thailand, the Historic Town of Sukhothai and Associated Historic Towns is a serial property consisting of three physically closely related ancient towns. The total property area is 11,852 ha., comprising Sukhothai 7,000 ha., Si Satchanalai 4,514 ha., and Kamphaeng Phet 338 ha. Sukhothai was the political and administrative capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 15th centuries. Si Satchanalai was the spiritual center of the kingdom and the site of numerous temples and Buddhist monasteries. Si Satchanalai was also the centre of the all-important ceramic export industry. The third town, Kamphaeng Phet, was located at the kingdom’s southern frontier and had important military functions in protecting the kingdom from foreign intruders as well as providing security for the kingdom’s extensive trading network. All three towns shared a common infrastructure to control water resources, and were linked by a major highway known as the Thanon Phra Ruang after the king who constructed it.

Niagara Falls

Peak visitor traffic occurs in the summertime, when Niagara Falls is both a daytime and evening attraction. From the Canadian side, floodlights illuminate both sides of the falls for several hours after dark (until midnight). The number of visitors in 2007 was expected to total 20 million, and by 2009 the annual rate was expected to top 28 million tourists.

The oldest and best known tourist attraction at Niagara Falls is the Maid of the Mist boat cruise, named for an ancient Ongiara Indian mythical character, which has carried passengers into the rapids immediately below the falls since 1846. Cruise boats operate from boat docks on both sides of the falls, with the Maid of the Mist operating from the American side and Hornblower Cruises (originally Maid of the Mist until 2014) from the Canadian side.

From the U.S. side, American Falls can be viewed from walkways along Prospect Point Park, which also features the Prospect Point Observation Tower and a boat dock for the Maid of the Mist. Goat Island offers more views of the falls and is accessible by foot and automobile traffic by bridge above American Falls. From Goat Island, the Cave of the Winds is accessible by elevator and leads hikers to a point beneath Bridal Veil Falls. Also on Goat Island are the Three Sisters Islands, the Power Portal where a statue of Nikola Tesla (the inventor whose patents for the AC induction motor and other devices for AC power transmission helped make the harnessing of the falls possible) can be seen, and a walking path that enables views of the rapids, the Niagara River, the gorge, and all of the falls. Most of these attractions lie within the Niagara Falls State Park.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

The Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is located about 7 kilometers west of central Kyoto , and is one of the most popular districts in Japan. This area is also known as Sagano Bamboo Forest or Bamboo Grove .

The entire Arashiyama district revolves around the Bamboo Grove, a spectacular landscape with thousands of bamboos. The visit to the bamboo forest consists of walking along the path that crosses it. This path is nicknamed the "Bamboo Alley" for the thousands of stems that rise up on either side of the path.

While walking among the impressive bamboos and admiring their beauty, along with their colors and lights that pass through their thick leaves, you can appreciate the subtle sound that two bamboo stems produce when colliding . This sound has been recognized as one of the " 100 sounds to preserve in Japan " by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan. So in addition to the view, we recommend that you come to the Bamboo Forest prepared to enjoy it with all your senses.
