The white waterfall of Pamukkale is located in the valley of the Menderes river, in the province of Denizli, in Turkey. It is a natural area where one of the biggest tourist attractions in all of Turkey is located, it is also known by the name of the Cotton Castle.

This beautiful place originated due to tectonic movements of the fault located in the Menderes river basin, these movements caused a large number of earthquakes, which gave way to the appearance of a large number of hot springs, with a high mineral content.

The waters of Pamukkale contain large amounts of calcium and bicarbonates, this fact causes the precipitation of large amounts of calcium bicarbonate, every second 250 liters gushes out of its hot springs, causing 0.5 kilograms of new Greta per second, the passage of time It has been seen in the sources of the place, due to the earthquakes some dried up and at the same time new sources began to appear.
